Batman Makes Spring Cupcakes

Today, during the snowfall, we made cupcakes.  Spring ones.  They were made straight from a box but I find that to be just enough work when you let the kids do most of the work.  I measured out ingredients since you only add wet to a box mix.  I let Batman do all the work after that.

He had a blast mixing his little heart out.

I like mess free cupcake pans.  Here's how I manage it...
Images ordered left to right, top to bottom.
1) gather a pastry bag, a large cup, and a small clip of some kind.  Fold tip of bag and clip
2) put clipped bag in cup
3) fill part way, raise sides of bag (as shown) and fill more.
4) pick up bag, gently twist and hold over cupcake liner.

Then fill!!  Gently squeeze to 2/3 way full, stop pull up and move to the next one.  If you notice this is a cookie sheet with silicone liners holding paper liners.  It's how I roll.  Did I mention Batman took this picture?  He did!  I love how easy it is to use the ipad for pictures!

After they cooled, and I had a lovely knitting date with a young gal from church, I came home to decorate.  I even let batman decorate too....  That's really REALLY hard to do!!  I have a passion for pretty cupcakes.  We added sprinkles too, but I got too busy to take pictures.

He's too busy wanting to chow down to show off!
