What a crazy week I've had. Good but crazy!! Boy oh boy.
You already saw the post about all the sidewalk artists in my little family, but here's a refresher! Friday was the first day of the last week I get to drowned myself in the delirious fun of taking my boys to hang out with all four of their cousins. They're moving just out of regular babysitting distance. Boo! It's great for so many reasons, but I shall miss my small army of nieces on an almost daily basis.
Alo on Friday, we were just plain silly. Love my girls so much. And my boys!
We also had Good Friday service, but being a somber occassion, I chose not to take a bunch of photos.

Saturday was THE longest day ever. I was out of the house and away from my boys for nine whole hours! It started off with the clothing exchange at my church. A good friend helped me reorganize while plenty shopped for free clothes. I would have a very are time letting this ministry go... Even if God called me somewhere else. I feel so blessed when people leave with smiles and bags of clothes. Even if they didn't have a 'real' need. Look at me: I donated all my winter clothes and picked up spring. I don't store seasonal for myself because by next year I will have found something else! We had an excellent turnout considering it was Easter weekend. I followed this with a pedicure. My amazing Prince Charming kept the boys all day. Those two were very worried about where I was since I'm usually only gone about 5 hours or so.. I think they drove dad a little nutty with the 'where's mom?' questions.
Then when I finally got home PC grilled out while I took over kids for a bit. After dinner and baths the whole family started our first Easter tradition. Ressurection cookies. They turned out awesome! On the bottom left are the bunny rolls I made for the family gathering the next day!

See my Easter hair? It was sooooo nice I got compliments from everyone. I even didn't feel like the fat frumpy mom when the family got together. PC's sisters are drop dead gorgeous and fit. So is his SIL. I usually feel out of my league, but not with this hair, lol! You can find a tutorial here!
We had so much fun at PC's family gathering. Lots f family food and egg hunting. We also visited my family, but I just never remember pictures over there. Maybe its because there's nt as many people, or nobody else has a camera out? I need to be better at that.

Monday I painted nails. I wish I had gone to beauty school. I almost did. That's another pst for another day. I would love to run a salon out of my home. Anyway. The Warrior Princess had a hard time sitting still for a picture so her nails are not shown. Clockwise from top left:
Grackleton's are a feather on her thumb and ring. A real feather. It's cool, but way too hard!
Mine are gold with a teal feather on ring finger
The fashionista's are red with abstract eyeballs. You heard me. That's how she rolls yo!
TurtleDoves is a springy little scene. (Shhh... Hers are my favorite....)
Tuesday my neighbor hid eggs for the boys. They had a blast and got way too much candy. But now our treat box is fully stocked!

I also made these chore/routine charts. I'll post a whole blog on those another day! Hopefully I'll be done putting it together soon!
And here s today. We sold clothes at a consignment store. Lots of baby boy clothes have left my house. I had a hard time getting rid of a few things. And I did keep some.... We are not planning on attempting to have any babies during our first year of homeschool. You never can tell what God has in store.... But I feel like I'm holding onto emotional baggage. Plus there will be the clothing exchange, gifts and more ways that Gd will provide.
I told you it was a crazy week!!
