What a weekend!

 This was a crazy weekend!  Probably not compared to other families but it certainly was bigger than usual for us!

Friday the boys and I hung out with all four nieces since the big girls were out of school.  They had a blast playing in the snow!

You know how you can always get the image you want on film?  Not me!  Short of climbing up on the roof I was not able to get the shot I wanted.  Not to mention  that getting 6  wiggly kids, ages 2-13 to do snow angels at once!

Saturday Batman turned 5!!  I'm happy with how great of a little monster he's becoming.  (Note that I lovingly call them both monsters)

Of course I invented my own pancake recipe.  Chocolate peanut butter pancakes.  I'll post a recipe soon.  I also made them batman shaped!

After that we went shopping for party supplies for next Saturday.  Even more exciting (for me anyway!) was shopping for lights for the house!!

You have no idea how exciting this is for me!  We have been living in our house for over 8 years and this is literally the first purchase I got to purposefully make determined on home decor rather than a need met with the cheapest possible option.

The day was sooo exciting that by the time I got home I had a massive headache.  I literally spent the day parenting from my chair while Prince Charming worked.  I enjoyed snapping a few pics  while watching cheesy movies on Netflix with  the boys.

Sunday we all made it to church at the same time for the first time in February!  Afterwards the boys and I visited the neighbors before her mom left for New Jersey.  There were tickle fights galore!
